ORGANIZING "THE ROLE OF LABOR UNIONS IN THE 4TH INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION" WORKSHOP FOR SOC TRANG LABOR UNION.

In the span of 2 days from October 26th till 27th in 2018, Social Development Training Center (SDTC) - Ton Duc Thang University joined hand with Soc Trang Province's Labor Union to organize successfully the "Role of Labor Unions in the 4th Industrial Revolution" workshop for members of the Executive Committee of the Trade Union on the higher levels; presidents/vice-chairmen of grassroots trade unions.

The goals of this workshop include:

• Aiding the unions to get used to the 4.0 Industrial Revolution and its standardized management system, enhancing professions and effectiveness in organizations.

• Guiding the labor unions to understand their mission to represent and protect workers' rights through events, pending trends to encourage them to actively join the Revolution, raising their professions, skills to adapt to the changes come from 4.0 Industrial Revolution.

With the positive teaching method, the lecturers introduced the trainees with various scenarios for discussion and debating, arousing the class's atmosphere. With an unexpected cameo from NAO robot from TDTU, the class impressed trainees with the vast oppotunities of the modern technologies applications.
