WHAT IS JLPT?
日本語 能力 試 験 (に ほ ん ご の う り ょ く し け ん) or the English name is the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT), which is called the Japanese Language Proficiency Test.

This is the most famous, popular and prestigious Japanese assessment exam currently available.

The JLPT is organized by the Japan Foundation (国際 交流 基金 - こ く さ い こ う り ゅ う き き ん), an organization under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan. Currently JLPT is held annually in 65 countries and territories around the world.

Currently, the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (Japanese Language Proficiency Test) is organized with 5 levels from N1 (hardest) to N5 (easiest).

Participants: Anyone who does not have a native Japanese language can take the JLPT Japanese Proficiency Test, regardless of age, ethnicity, religion or gender.
