Closing the class "Reinforcing the knowledge of the State management in tourism" for the Department of Home Affairs of Binh Thuan province

From November 23th to November 25th, in 2021, the Social Development Training Center (SDTC) - Ton Duc Thang University in collaboration with the Department of Home Affairs of Binh Thuan province successfully organized the class "Reinforcing the knowledge of the state management in tourism".

However, because of the effect of Covid-19 pandemic and difficulties during online learning, our class encountered certain limitations and challenges. Eventually, thanks to the efforts and active study of the students, they basically achieved many certain results after 3 days of the course, such as: All students participated seriously and actively contributed and presented  their opinions to lesson, and participated enthusiastically in discussions, including 02 working days with foreign experts.

In addition, SDTC has also gotten many positive feedback on the class as follows:

- Help students understand more about regional linkage and get more ideas about service activities… to create tourism products to serve and attract more tourists to Binh Thuan;

- Update some new knowledge;

- Know more interesting and meaningful issues and capture an overview of tourism basing on the practical experience of the lecturers in the lecture;

- Improve the management capacity of managers; perform well the promotion of local tourism

At the closing ceremony, the class also received a speech from Ms. Nguyen Lan Ngoc - Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Binh Thuan province (a student of the class). Ms. Ngoc emphasized that even though she only studied for 3 days, thanks to the knowledge of the course, there would be a lot of changes as well as and good methods that each student in this class will draw and help tourism in Binh Thuan province have better changes. Besides, she hopes that in the future, Binh Thuan Provincial Departments will receive consultations from SDTC experts for tourism in Binh Thuan province. She also said that the concern and love of experts at SDTC with Binh Thuan tourism is very respectful and valuable.

SDTC will continue to accompany and organize useful classes in the future, which contributes to perfect and improve skills and expertise for the staff in Binh Thuan Province.
