Training Course on Trade Union Work in 2023

On the morning of September 26, 2023, at the Đồng Xoài – Đồng Phú Industrial Zone Trade Union House, the Bình Phước Provincial Labor Federation (LĐLĐ) in collaboration with the Social Development Training Center of Tôn Đức Thắng University organized the opening ceremony of the 2023 Trade Union Officer Training Course for 107 professional trade union officials and union cadres under the LĐLĐ.

Attending the ceremony were Mr. Đỗ Thành Lai, Vice President of the Bình Phước Provincial LĐLĐ; Mr. Nguyễn Tất Năm, a Master of Science from the Social Development Training Center of Tôn Đức Thắng University; the Standing Committee of the Provincial LĐLĐ; and members of the Training Course Organizing Committee.

The training course took place over 4 days, from September 26 to September 29, 2023. The content of the training course included 5 topics (Strengthening the capacity of trade union organizations in Vietnam in the context of economic integration; Resolutions, Action Programs to implement the Resolution of the 11th Provincial Labor Congress, term 2023 -2028; Financial work of trade unions; Membership development work and Inspection and supervision work of trade unions at all levels; Skills for dialogue at the workplace; Skills for negotiation, collective bargaining and signing collective labor agreements) will be implemented by lecturers from Tôn Đức Thắng University, Vice Presidents, and leaders of the Departments of the Provincial LĐLĐ.

Speech by Vice President of the Provincial Labor Federation Đỗ Thành Lai at the Opening Ceremony of the Trade Union Officer Training Course

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Do Thanh Lai, Vice President of the Provincial Labor Union, emphasized that 2023 is the year that all levels of trade unions organize congresses of trade unions at all levels leading up to the 11th Provincial Trade Union Congress and the 13th Congress of Vietnam Trade Unions. It is also the year to complete the targets of the resolution of the 12th Vietnam Trade Union Congress; implement the resolution of the 11th Provincial Trade Union Congress and the resolutions of trade unions at all levels; continue to implement the resolutions of the Party Congresses at all levels, implement Resolution 02 of the Politburo on the renewal of the organization and activities of the Vietnam Trade Union in the new situation.

In the face of the opportunities and challenges facing the trade union organization, each trade union cadre needs to constantly be proactive, strive, study, research, improve their level, skills, and professional knowledge to apply to their work, turn challenges into opportunities, contribute to improving the quality and effectiveness of trade union activities, and building a stronger trade union organization.

At the same time, he requested that all trainees participating in the training course need to seriously and actively study fully and on time, actively interact with lecturers to clarify any content they do not understand, and then apply to practical work.

Head of the Organization - Inspection Department Do Minh Tan reiterated the classroom rules and regulations.

Master Nguyen Tat Nam, a lecturer at the Center for Social Development Training of Ton Duc Thang University, delivered a lecture on "Strengthening the Capacity of the Vietnam Trade Union in the Context of Economic Integration".

After the conclusion of this training course, the Provincial Labor Federation will continue to organize 02 vocational training courses for trade union officials directly under the KCN Union in the Dong Xoai-Dong Phu area and the Provincial Industrial Zones Trade Union.
